Situated on the beachfront in Tutukaka and boasting a garden, The Sands Motel has free WiFi throughout the property. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a barbecue. We have stayed here before and will stay here again. The location is truly the best on the coast, or any coast for that matter. The staff are lovely and helpful plus cant beat the rates.

Paihia Star Motel is located in Paihia, within 10 km of Opua Forest and 3.3 km of Waitangi Treaty Grounds. Haruru Falls is 7.3 km from the motel and Kemp House and Stone Store is 27 km away. Everything was wonderful. Our hosts Trevor and Lidia were so welcoming and made it feel like our home away from home. The breakfasts every morning set us up well for the day. All in all it was a wonderful place to stay.

Stunning views, unbelievable panorama from the entire resort. Loved the 2 private beaches which were so beautiful to swim at.

Lodge Bordeaux features a heated outdoor pool, a barbecue pavilion and an in-room breakfast service. A 5-minute drive from Whangarei’s city centre, it offers free unlimited WiFi. Easy access, and even though on the highway, it was quiet. Quick check-in. Shared laundry, but we arrived just in time to get a load done. Our apartment actually looked better than the photos, the kitchen was functional with enough equipment to make a little dinner. We had a spa bath, which we didn't have time to use, but loved that towel warmer. We found a classical music station on the TV! It's nice they provide real milk for your coffee or for hot chocolate with your cookies.

Offering quality accommodation, this 4.5-star property is nestled between Paihia and Waitangi on Te Ti Bay. Hosts are very sympathics. A real pleasure to stay 2 nights here. very good advices about activities and restaurant.

Just 10 minutes' walk from the Kerikeri River and set amongst gardens, the peaceful Colonial House Motel boasts free unlimited WiFi, Netflix and 50+ TV channels and a saltwater pool. Wow, this has been a great experience! The Colonial House Motel is a lovely place, a beautiful garden, nice rooms, filled with hospitality. Owner Mark personally showed us our room, making us feel welcome from the very first second on. The room is equipped with everything an (overseas) tourist needs. In our room there was even a travel adapter power plug. Laundry service is available complete with clothes airers. When we arrived, Mark was working in the garden. Upon arrival he said we came on a good time: time also for a short break from gardening. This was another way we felt very welcome. The owners not just own this place, they live it. They live hospitality. Thanks very much, Mark and Paula. I would highly recommend the Colonial House Motel for anyone travelling in the Kerikeri and Bay of Islands area.
